Overview

You’ll report to the Duty Manager on shift. You’ll also work as part of the F&B team, working alongside our Catering Assistants and you may share tasks with them at times.
£13.25

Key information

The Café is part of the Princess Theatre, and the team work closely together to ensure customers and audiences receive the best service when visiting our venue.  We operate a daytime café menu and pre-theatre dining on show nights.

About the role

  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene levels in the kitchen, proactively identify risks and ensure company Risk Management policies and guidance are complied with.
  • Ensure the accurate handling and reporting of stock in line with company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member, working well with others to ensure all required tasks are completed.
  • Proactively identify tasks which need to be done and take responsibility for completing them.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, cooking and preparing food (desirable not essential).
  • Qualifications in food hygiene (desirable not essential).
  • Understand the impact of the role on the customer experience and its importance to the company.
  • Great work ethic and care about quality.
  • Be observant and focused on the customer.
  • Relate well to others.
  • Communicate effectively.
