Join our dynamic Housing Administration Team to become a valued member of a service who are committed to providing the best administrative and business support in accordance with systems, statutory procedures, legislation, corporate standards and policies.

You’ll be expected to work flexibly and on occasion out of, or after normal hours.

About the role

  • Organises and co-ordinates meetings, take notes and tracks meeting actions. 
  • Deals with customer enquiries and for non-complex enquiries provide a suitable written response. 
  • Develops, produces and maintains service-specific processes, systems, databases and documents in line with corporate standards, protocols and emerging technology.
  • Supports managers within the service and other staff in the co-ordination and production of service reports, presentations, spreadsheets and other documents to required timescales. 
  • Assists with the induction, support, training and monitoring of Admin and Business Support Assistants as directed, prioritising and allocating work as appropriate, and monitoring and quality checking output. 
  • Where directed, produces and circulates communication material including updates and notices, learning materials and e-communication such as updating intranet and internet sites where relevant.

Requirements

  • Experience of carrying out administration tasks using IT applications such as Word, Excel, Email and websites and you will have the ability to input data and maintain databases accurately. 
  • Experience of supporting meetings by taking minutes and recording actions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, you’ll be able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring policies and procedures are followed correctly.  
  • Working with speed, accuracy, and high attention to detail to deliver a high-quality service.
