You will form part of a wider Estates team reporting to the Estates Team Leaders with a large range of Trades as well as mentoring and assisting with apprentices with practical training skills.

• Undertake minor maintenance tasks appropriate to skill level to heating and hot water plant and equipment Trust mechanical equipment, including tugs and trolleys.
• Undertake the cleaning of Trust light fittings and replacement bulbs and lamps.
• Undertake meter readings, monitoring deliveries of oil and other consumable commodities in accordance with local procedures.
• Complete log sheets, report sheets and test certificates for legislative and statutory requirements as necessary.
• Carry out planned maintenance tasks, cleaning of Trust draining systems, gutters and gullies, maintain serviceability of associated drain equipment.
• Undertake minor brickwork repairs and minor brick laying tasks, plaster, ceramic and floor tile repairs. Decorating works, insulation repairs, gutter repairs and cleaning, boarding up of windows, doors and openings.

• Continued professional and or engineering development.
