This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mass Participation team, helping to coordinate a portfolio of virtual events expected to raise over four point seven million pounds and bring in over thirty four thousand participants to the charity in the next year.

Key information

As a Mass Participation Executive, you will be responsible for the end to end management of our virtual challenges, delivering marketing plans in collaboration with agency support and stewarding supporters to ensure participation. Using project management tools and a proactive 'can do' approach, you will ensure smooth event delivery, continuously analyse, and develop the virtual events portfolio. You will work closely with teams across Fundraising, Data, Marketing and Communications to drive income, collaborate and achieve high levels of engagement across the virtual events portfolio.

You will be required to work a minimum of two days per week at our Aldgate London Office.

About the role

  • Use project management tools and techniques to plan, organise and deliver the virtual events portfolio.
  • Use insight and analysis to feed into the development of budgets and plans.
  • Responsible for delivering marketing plans with a focus on digital activity, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Coordinating the production of marketing collateral for virtual events including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Work closely with teams across Fundraising, Marketing and Communications to drive income, collaboration and high levels of engagement around the virtual events portfolio.
  • Develop strong working relationships internally to drive marketing and stewardship plans, particularly with the Database and Marketing and Communications teams.
  • Use insight from previous campaigns and sector benchmarks to deliver stewardship plans that maximise remittance rates and average gifts.

Requirements

  • Experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns.
  • Experience of working with external agencies on events or campaigns.
  • Understanding of effective marketing channels and techniques for driving participation in challenge events, particularly via digital channels.
  • Understanding of effective stewardship techniques used for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts.
  • Understanding of how to use insight, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Experience of using a relationship database to support, inform and report on fundraising activity.
  • Computer literate with intermediate level in using Microsoft Office software including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
  • This role will be subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
