Role overview:
- You will utilize your core skills as a Gas Combustion Engineer, focusing on reactive fault diagnostics and installations related to the company’s core activities.
- Act as the primary Gas Engineer on the mobile contract, delivering planned maintenance and reactive tasks.
- Types of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) covered under the contract include:
- Gas boilers
- Gas water heaters
- Gas pipework testing
- Gas air heaters
- Gas radiant tube heaters
- Manage unsafe situations by issuing warning notices and effectively communicate with clients on behalf of the company.
- Handle workloads efficiently, meet deadlines, and arrange quotations for remedial jobs exceeding £500.
- Demonstrate competence in general engineering works, with a multi-skilled role or bias towards mechanical and electrical trades.
- Perform full commissioning and servicing of all HVAC equipment.
- Collaborate with contracts staff as necessary to meet employer expectations in line with agreed contract terms.
- Produce all required documentation based on workload, such as technical reports and reject reports for component or plant failures.
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety on-site by adhering to Method Statements and Risk Assessments as standard, while highlighting specific requirements as needed.
