Key information

This role is based on site and you should be comfortable working and travelling from the sites this role covers. Therefore a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

This role is also subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About the role

You will be working as part of a small team managed by the Senior Neighbourhood Coordinator and will be expected to achieve stretching and ambitious targets. Tenant engagement is key to Habinteg’s success, and you will work closely with tenant representatives and tenant groups.  

  • Responsible for delivering housing services to our tenants in South East London at our schemes including: Caterham, Faversham, Sheerness, with a few dispersed properties in other areas.
  • You will be letting properties, carrying out scheme inspections, including key health and safety checks, helping tenants to keep up to date with their rent, and liaising with social services and occupational health services to ensure tenants can successfully maintain their tenancy and live independently.
  • You will also be dealing with tenancy issues, including managing reports of anti social behaviour.

Requirements

  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills is essential.
