About the role

  • General clinical and surgical work, as directed by the Chief Veterinary Surgeon, Head   Veterinary Surgeon or Senior Veterinary Surgeon, in accordance with daily rotas.
  • Participate in out of hours veterinary surgeons' rota.
  • Adhere to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Code of Professional conduct.
  • Adhere to Blue Cross policies and follow Blue Cross procedures and guidelines
    Comply with Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical treatment records.
  • Be an advocate for Blue Cross aims and objectives within your team.

Requirements

  • Member of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
  • Demonstrable small animal or mixed practice experience
  • Sole charge experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
