Key information

Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards, best practice and alignment with the company's vision and culture. Work with stakeholders including Trade Unions to seek agreement and keep them informed of any changes to policies.

About the role

  • Develop HR policies and procedures by researching and benchmarking best practices and consulting stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal requirements and organisational goals.
  • Manage the review of existing HR policies and procedures through the creation of a policy review schedule to identify gaps and suggest improvements, maintaining legislative compliance and relevance in a changing workforce landscape.
  • Drive continuous improvement through evaluating industry trends, best practice and opportunities to align policies across both TfW entities to keep HR practices dynamic and effective.
  • Manage policy communication by creating accessible policy documents, working in collaboration with the Communications team to deliver updates, and engage employees through digital platforms to ensure clarity and adherence across all levels of the organisation.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience of writing people policy documents.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Experience in policy development and implementation.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Personable with communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
  • The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
