(37.5 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract)

Key information

This is an exciting time to join Dementia UK as we prepare to roll out our new brand. In this varied, hands-on role as Production Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of that rollout, helping creative projects run smoothly from initial brief through to final delivery.

Joining us on a 12-month fixed term contract, you’ll work closely with our Brand and Marketing team, coordinating creative briefs, schedules, reviews and approvals, keeping projects organised and everyone informed. 

You’ll work with inhouse creatives, freelancers, printers and other suppliers to support the production and delivery of high-quality creative work.

About the role

  • Manage the day-to-day flow of creative projects, maintaining the Creative Production board in Monday.com and helping to keep work on track from brief to final delivery.
  • Share updates on project progress and responsible for flagging workload, scheduling and delivery risks to help inform the wider brand rollout plan.
  • Review and triage incoming creative briefs, checking requirements, content and assets, following up on missing information and confirming key content and delivery dates.
  • Support with brief responses and the development of project schedules, deliverables and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate project reviews, feedback and approvals, following up on actions and deadlines and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Act as the key day-to-day contact for freelancers and other creative suppliers, from checking availability and obtaining quotes through to briefing, reviews and final delivery. 
  • Coordinate content and feedback throughout the project, as well as associated purchase orders and invoices.

Requirements

  • Experience providing project, production or administrative coordination in a busy creative or marketing environment, ideally within an in house creative team or agency studio.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience of working with freelancers, agencies, printers or other external suppliers.
  • Understanding of creative production processes, including design, artwork and print production.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate information and records.
  • Experience of supporting administrative processes such as quotes, purchase orders and invoices.
  • Experience of using Monday.com or a similar project or workflow management tool.
  • Experience of working in the charity or not-for profit sector.
