Key information

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Programme Manager to join the Youth Sport Trust and play a key role in the delivery of the Enrichment Expansion Programme (EEP).

As part of the Government’s National Youth Strategy, 400 schools have been selected by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Department of Education (DfE) to take part in this ambitious three-year programme, which aims to increase access to high-quality enrichment opportunities and help tackle the participation gap for disadvantaged and underrepresented young people.

As Programme Manager - Enrichment, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of the programme’s approach to enrichment practice. You will use evidence, insight and learning from across the programme to develop high-quality resources, tools, training and guidance that help schools strengthen their enrichment offer and increase participation.

About the role

  • Provide professional and strategic leadership for the development, innovation and continuous improvement of the Enrichment Expansion Programme.
  • Lead the development of high-quality, evidence-informed resources, tools, training and guidance that support schools to strengthen their enrichment offer and increase participation, particularly amongst disadvantaged and underrepresented young people.
  • Ensure youth voice is centred at the heart of the Enrichment Programme and underpins all activity.
  • Translate learning, evidence and insight from programme delivery into practical approaches that improve enrichment practice and support continuous improvement across the programme.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with schools, Enrichment System Builders, sector experts, national organisations and other key partners to strengthen the quality and impact of the programme.
  • Lead the sharing and dissemination of effective practice, learning and innovation across the programme and through national networks.
