Key information

We are looking for a creative and proactive Programme Officer to join the Youth Sport Trust and play a key role in the development and delivery of the Enrichment Expansion Programme (EEP).

As part of the Government’s National Youth Strategy, 400 schools across England have been selected to take part in this three-year programme, which aims to increase access to high-quality enrichment opportunities for young people, particularly those facing disadvantage or barriers to participation.

Working as part of the Enrichment Expansion team, you will take responsibility for agreed areas of programme activity, working closely with schools, Enrichment Coordinators, partners and colleagues to develop resources, learning and support that help schools strengthen their enrichment offer.

About the role

  • Support the development and delivery of the Enrichment Expansion Programme, taking responsibility for agreed areas of programme activity.
  • Bring knowledge, creativity and a developmental approach to the design and delivery of enrichment resources, learning and support for schools.
  • Ensure the needs and experiences of young people are at the heart the Enrichment Expansion Programme, particularly those facing disadvantage or barriers to participation and their views inform programme development.
  • Work with the Enrichment Expansion team, schools, Enrichment Coordinators, young people and partners to develop and deliver high-quality enrichment practice.
  • Use insight, feedback and learning from across the programme to inform resources, identify effective practice and support continuous improvement.
  • Be curious about the barriers that prevent young people from accessing enrichment in their school.
