Key information

Starting at £35,000 per year as a Programme Support Officer.  This role is a Fixed Term for 12 months and you will be seconded from PDS into the NPCC and Data Analytics office.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a ground-breaking function within policing which will shape the future of data and analytics in UK law enforcement and help to utilise policing data to better protect the public. 

About the role

This role will work closely with the Project Manager assigned to the NDAO and is a unique opportunity to be part of a team who will establish a new National Data and Analytics Office, whose core purpose is to enable a consolidated approach to data initiatives across policing. 

As an innovative and responsive professional, your primary role will be to deliver professional support to NDAO, encompassing both operational support to the Programme Teams and the National Police Data Board. You will provide effective stakeholder engagement across policing leadership and partners through your already highly developed interpersonal, advocacy and communication skills to ensure Policing is able to make the most of NDAO.

Working Arrangements

This is a remote role with occasional travel required to attend meetings.

All applicants must be eligible to undergo NPPV3 (Non Police Personnel Vetting Level 3 )and SC vetting clearances. Successful applicants will require NPPV3 clearance to have been cleared before starting with PDS.
