Key information

We’re looking for a Programming Assistant to join us and assist with the delivery and development of our programme of activities and events. In doing so, you’ll help create an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits and help them understand more about our wonderful place.

The hours advertised for this role is reflective of 12 months, however the actual hours you’ll be required to work for this role are approximately 281 hours, depending on your start date. The amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the term of your contract. 

Working Pattern: Your working pattern will vary depending on the scheduled programme of events and activities, and will include weekend and Bank Holiday working. You can expect to work more hours during November and December to support a winter event, with fewer hours during January and February. Shifts will be from 9.45am to 3.45pm (5.5 hours). 

About the role

  • Working with the team, you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. 
  • Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. 
  • You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.
