About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play your part in the transformation of one of Amgueddfa Cymru’s best-loved museums. The National Slate Museum Redevelopment Project will conserve, improve and interpret the exceptional Amgueddfa Llechi site and create a UNESCO World Heritage hub supporting traditional skills, learning and wellbeing. 

This post will support day to day administrative and project coodination duties in the delivery of the National Slate Museum redevelopment project, including raising purchase orders, taking minutes, filing documents, diarising meetings, booking meeting spaces and organising refreshments, collecting, checking and summarising data and supporting project activities and events as required.

Requirements

  • Experience of administrative work including familiarity with Microsoft Office  applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge and understanding of processes for collating and reporting statistical information.
  • Experience of raising purchase orders, processing invoices and monitoring spend.
  • Able to take accurate and succinct minutes of meetings.
  • Understanding of basic project management including the maintenance and updating of key project documents such as risk registers.
  • Experience of interacting with the public and supporting the smooth running of activities and events.
  • Basic skills in data analysis and interpretation.
