Key information

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Building Services Team located in London. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager responsible for the project, you will effectively and professionally lead the day to day management, within a large scale multi disciplinary commercial project, the specific scope discipline including, design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover, within the Skanska JV building construction team. Whilst ensuring the delivery to time, commercial performance, governance, and Skanska values are met during all phases of the project’s delivery to the satisfaction of the client.

About the role

  • Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
  • Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensures full implementation and compliance. 
  • Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.
  • Understand, develop, scrutinise, deliver and monitor end to end programme.
  • Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.

Requirements

  • Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines, interfaces and work sequencing.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team large scale Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contract.
  • Formal Health and Safety training accreditations, minimum Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
  • Proven track record in leading teams and projects.
