Barnardo's delivers the Gloucestershire Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service in partnership with First Light. Together, we provide specialist support to anyone in the county affected by sexual abuse or sexual violence, helping them to understand their options, liaising with other services and advocating for and supporting them through the criminal justice process.
Although based in central Gloucester, this is a county wide outreach role requiring regular travel.
You will provide trauma informed emotional and practical support to children, young people, and their families who have been impacted by sexual abuse or sexual violence. A key part of this role involves outreach support across the county, meeting service users in environments that feel safe and accessible to them.
