Key information

This role sits at the heart of our Public Sector function and will play a key part in bringing people, priorities and progress together. You’ll work closely with major public sector customers and teams across OS to make sure complex agreements are delivered with confidence, clarity and pace.

About the role

This role will take ownership of agreement delivery, turning commitments into action and helping ensure performance, benefits and outcomes stay on track. It’s a chance to combine strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, build trusted relationships and make a visible contribution to nationally important work.

What You’ll Do

Agreement Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of complex, high-value Public Sector agreements, ensuring all obligations, KPIs and service levels are met or exceeded.

Customer and Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as the primary point of contact and authority for customers, managing both strategic and operational interactions and representing OS with credibility and confidence.

Performance and Improvement

  • Drive performance across agreements, using insight and data to identify issues and proactively lead improvement activity that enhances delivery, outcomes and efficiency.

Governance and Risk Management

  • Ensure strong delivery against governance frameworks, KPIs, change control and compliance requirements, maintaining clear oversight and managing risks effectively. Hold the business to account.

Insight and Adaptation

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer priorities and wider government context, adapting delivery approaches to meet changing needs and expectations.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate across OS to ensure alignment of internal stakeholders, coordinating activity and influencing outcomes to deliver against customer and commercial objectives.

Reporting and Communication

  • Deliver clear, accurate and high-quality reporting on agreement performance, translating complex information into simple, actionable insight.

Inclusion

We are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments that people may need during the recruitment process, and you will be asked whether you require any during the application process.

Research indicates that women, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQ+ community members, neurodiverse individuals, and people from ethnic minority backgrounds often hesitate to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Ordnance Survey, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and genuine workplace where everyone can thrive. If you’re enthusiastic about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly match every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be the ideal candidate for this or other roles within Ordnance Survey.

Requirements

We’re looking for a structured and commercially aware delivery leader with experience managing complex agreements or service environments, and a strong focus on performance, governance and customer outcomes.

  • Proven experience leading delivery of complex agreements, services or accounts, ideally within a public sector environment
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, KPIs, contracting and compliance processes
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and customer relationships, including navigating political pressures
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insight to track performance and drive improvement
  • Strong organisational capability, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience producing high-quality reporting and communicating performance clearly
  • Confident influencing across teams and coordinating delivery in a matrix environment
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency and control
  • Comfortable managing risk, issues and escalation within a structured framework
  • A team player – someone who participates within the wider team to help create an enjoyable, productive and supportive environment

Key Experience

  • Experience supporting the delivery or administration of high value agreements, contracts, service activity or structured processes
  • Experience producing, coordinating or supporting performance reports, including data collation, checking and validation
