About the role

  • The People Support team is responsible for delivering a high quality and consistent HR and recruitment administration service. This means ensuring all transactional processes relating to the employee lifecycle are processed correctly in line with MHA’s systems and in accordance with agreed work instructions.

    Administering the recruitment process which includes:
  • Placing vacancies onto the MHA website and approved job boards,
    ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Producing offer letters of employment through itrent
  • Support the on-boarding of candidates by reviewing pre-employment medical screening and referring to 3rd party occupational health providers as appropriate
  • Producing contracts of employment through itrent for both internal and external candidates
  • Creation of new employee records within iTrent by transferring new
    starters through from recruitment into the organisation structure in a timely
    manner to ensure that information is available for use by other stakeholders
  • Processing of additional roles and employee transfers in line with current
    policy and procedure ensuring appropriate contractual correspondence is issued in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all employees transferring to/from relief roles are correctly
    processed in line with current policy and new contracts of employment are issued in a timely manner
  • Responding to recruitment enquiries from Managers and internal/external
    candidates in a timely manner 
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience 
  • Experience of providing information to managers in a concise and confident manner
  • Experience of customer contact over the telephone and via email, ability to ask relevant questions and filter information to either respond or escalate as appropriate
  • Computer literate with experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook and people or customer information systems
  • Experience of working within a multi-site service delivery
