Key information

We’re recruiting for a proactive and customer focused Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team in Portsmouth!  

Minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working. 

While this role is contractually based out of our Portsmouth office, team days alternate between our Portsmouth and Basingstoke office.

As this role involves travel, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is a requirement. Business mileage will be paid.

About the role

  • Ensure the provision of a comprehensive administrative support service for the team to provide a customer focussed service.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with customers to determine their preferences for notifications re available properties and develop processes and procedures to ensure customers receive the correct information and property launches and alerts.
  • Produce data on the demographics of customers, enquiries and applications, to support development of marketing strategies.
  • Respond positively to new initiatives, policy or legislation to help the business with developing new strategies and practices.
  • Assist and support Marketing team with general marketing activities as required.

Requirements

  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) Grade 4 or C in English and Maths.
  • Understanding of housing market, legal and regulatory requirements for newbuild and resale homes.
  • Able to communicate confidently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to provide support and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, with an ability to pitch communication at a level which is appropriate to the audience.
  • Demonstrable experience in a Marketing or Administration role.
