Key information

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll work alongside the shop team in Scope's Andover shop and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment.

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by dedicated, creative, and passionate teams. We focus on sustainable fashion, engage with local communities, and lead volunteers to deliver a great experience for colleagues and customers. Funds raised support Scope’s mission of achieving equality for disabled people and their families.

Scope shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed.

About the role

You will:

  • Complete cash handling, banking and associated administration, ensuring that all till operations in accordance with Scope’s policies and procedures and the Shop Operating Manual.
  • Maintain a high standard of merchandising of products both in the window and inside the shop.
  • Assist the  Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to manage all aspects of stock collection and preparation; ensuring that stock processing levels are sufficient to achieve required shop floor density, encouraging stock donations at all times.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, internally and externally, always promoting good practice within the shop.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Ability to communicate well with all customers.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in an efficient manner.
  • Proven organisational and prioritising skills.
