Central Operations, Telesales, Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds. Working every Tuesday and Thursday in our office in Morley and 3 days working from home.

Key information

Ready to kick-start your career in sales? As part of our SME Sales Development Team, you’ll learn how to build confidence, connect with customers and help grow one of the UK’s leading parcel delivery businesses. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be supported to develop real sales skills, generate your own leads, build a customer pipeline and turn great conversations into new business. Alongside your role, you’ll complete a Sales Executive Level 4 apprenticeship, giving you a recognised qualification, practical experience and a strong platform for your future career.

About the role

In this role, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Build your own prospect pipeline by spotting new opportunities and reaching out to potential customers
  • Work towards sales targets and KPIs, learning how to stay focused, motivated and commercially confident
  • Use our CRM system to manage your sales activity, track progress and keep customer information up to date
  • Support new customers through onboarding, helping them get set up and ready to start trading with Evri
  • Help customers understand our service processes, tools and contacts so they feel confident managing their account
  • Monitor how new customers are performing in their first few weeks and support them to trade successfully across our products and services
  • Prepare new customer accounts for a smooth handover once they are settled and trading well
  • Help resolve customer questions, account queries and escalations in a professional and helpful way
  • Work with local operations teams to make sure new customers receive the right support and service from day one

Requirements

  • GCSEs – C (4) or above in English, Science and Maths, plus three non-core subjects at C (5) or above
  • Personable and approachable, with a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude.
  • Organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks while keeping a positive outlook.
  • A great communicator, both in writing and over the phone.
  • Resilient and solution-focused, ready to tackle challenges with creativity.
  • Is organised but flexible, able to juggle priorities without losing the human touch.
  • Feels comfortable and confident on the phone, enjoying conversations that build trust and rapport.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
