This role will suit an experienced Payroll professional who has been working in house and managing end to end payroll cycles. 

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, the right behaviours and attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn and keep improving.

About the role

  • Working with wider PX Shared Service team and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll is processed on time and compliantly each month
  • Manage end-to-end in-house payroll processing for multiple countries, and ensure any changes in local legislation and picked up and administered across the systems
  • Be an escalation point for the payroll team on day-to-day queries
  • Training the wider PX team to provide best practice experience and reduce errors
  • Contribute and support the continuous improvement of payroll systems seeking out opportunities to automate manual processes for greater efficiency and ensuring they underpin our Company values
  • Co-ordinate with the Tech teams to ensure that any payroll changes are implemented successfully into the system

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, ideally across UK and or international payrolls in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within an in-house payroll system - Workday preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, pensions, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles and resolving complex payroll queries
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a payroll team
