Key information

We are looking for a proactive and organised Service Administrator to join our Children's Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative and financial support, helping ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services.

This is a varied position where you'll play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting service users, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

About the role

  • Maintain efficient office systems including post handling, message taking, room bookings, and staff movement tracking
  • Manage service user referrals and maintain accurate records
  • Support access to records and information sharing with external agencies
  • Assist with budget preparation and ongoing monitoring
  • Track income and expenditure against budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure staff information (leave, absence, and so on) is recorded accurately
  • Ensure the service is equipped with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Support frontline service delivery through effective administration

Requirements

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing administrative and financial processes
  • Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
  • Experienced in handling sensitive information with confidentiality
  • A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
