Key information

We’re looking for Service Team Members to join us at Leith Hill Place and Tower to support our busy team across visitor operations. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll help us meet targets, solve problems, and deliver great service both at the house and tower.

Working Days: Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Leith Hill Place and Tower will be open every weekend from 6 June 2026 until 27 September 2026.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

Please note the interview date is set for 23 April 2026.

With a proposed start date as 1 May 2026.

About the role

  • The core part of your job is to give vital and positive support to your colleagues, wherever you’re needed, with a focus on greeting and helping visitors.
  • No two days will be the same. You’ll work across both Leith Hill Place and the Tower (with its 73 steps spiral staircase) which involves outdoor work at both sites.
  • You’ll also be on hand to resolve customer issues in a friendly and helpful way.
  • Tasks could include opening-up and closing down the house and tower, welcoming visitors, restocking shelves in the book shop, clearing tables in the café, and answering questions and sharing information to help people get the most out of their visit.
