We are recruiting for a Site Lead. You will provide effective leadership and management of manufacturing environment and facilities, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality spaces that support wellbeing and operational excellence.
£33,000 GBP to £38,000

The role plays a key part in overseeing site operations, facilities management and support services, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure environments are maintained to the highest standards.

  • Consistently role model company values and behaviours, promoting a positive culture with both the team and client.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures and all relevant legislative requirements, applying them fairly and consistently across the area.
  • Effectively manage team attendance, proactively monitor absence levels, and ensure efficient workforce scheduling.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, managing issues professionally and escalating where appropriate.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training aligned to their roles, maintaining high standards of competence and performance.
  • Deliver effective onboarding processes, setting colleagues up for success from day one.
  • Support team members in understanding their roles clearly, identifying and addressing any skills or training gaps that may impact service delivery.
  • Carry out regular site audits to monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and contribute to health and safety audits, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Monitor stock levels of consumables (such as soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) and ensure timely replenishment

Requirements

  • Ability to build positive relationships at all levels

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines 
  • Able to reflect on own performance to learn and adapt 
  • Able to use ICT including MS Office 
  • Thorough with excellent attention to detail 
  • Punctual, reliable and confident 
  • Experience within a manufacturing setting would be advantageous but not necessary
