Would you like to volunteer regularly at our Leeds Hub and be part of our new community? You might like to volunteer as a Digital Inclusion Adviser! 

This role is really important because we need volunteers who will support digitally excluded disabled people to access Scope’s services and other important online services, and to be safe online.

About the role

You’ll support disabled people visiting Scope’s Leeds Hub to: 

  • use the computers at the hub to get support and advice 
  • learn basic digital skills using the Learn My Way platform 

You’ll help people get their own internet access by:  

  • advising on social internet tariffs (cheaper broadband and phone packages for people claiming Universal Credit, Pension Credit and some other benefits) 
  • offering free data and devices through the National Digital Inclusion Network 

Tasks

  • You’ll support disabled people visiting Scope’s Leeds Hub to use the computers at the hub to get support and advice 
  • You’ll support disabled people visiting Scope’s Leeds Hub to learn basic digital skills using the Learn My Way platform
