Rotating day shift following two-week pattern: Week 1 – Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 6am-2pm / Week 2 – Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 2pm to 10pm.
Nights shift, Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 10pm to 6am.)

Here at GXO Swindon we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team, supporting our customer, B&Q. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
About the role
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating Fork Lift Truck and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
- Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site Key Performance Indicators and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
- Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health and Safety guidelines

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous warehouse experience within fast-paced logistics environment
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
- Experience operating or holding valid certificate of competence for Counterbalance/Reach Truck would be an advantage, but not essential
