Overview
We are looking for staff to work on projects all over the UK that help local authorities and companies improve their understanding of waste and recycling that they produce, what is being thrown away and how recycling can be improved.

South West, Wales and North East as well as work across the UK
Key information
You will separate waste and recycling into different item and material types and record the results. We will provide you with training, equipment, and PPE for the work. You will be part of a small friendly team which (depending on the job location) will usually travel from our Bristol depot to different parts of the UK. We do work in towns and cities all over the UK and pay a travel allowance for work in other areas. Generally, each job runs for five consecutive days of work.

Resource Futures is an employee-owned consultancy with a vision of a sustainable world. With a focus on designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use and supporting and regenerating natural systems – a world designed according to circular economy principles.
We are a Living Wage Employer. Guaranteed minimum 7 hours per working day. Hourly pay is £12.00 per hour plus holiday pay £1.45 per hour. We also pay £28.28 subsistence payment per night away from home, plus £7.50 per day for breakfast subsistence payment. Drivers are paid an extra driving supplement of £15 per day when driving company vehicles. Some travel costs are covered.

Requirements
We are especially interested in hearing from experienced drivers of long wheelbase vans (up to 3.5 tonnes).
Ensuite accommodation, subsistence allowance, and protective clothing are provided. The work would suit people that want flexibility in their work commitments and are happy to work away from home for short periods. No previous experience is required, but you must be reliable, motivated, and willing to do hands-on work.
