We are recruiting a Wedding and Events Coordinator at Bryngarw House. This role supports clients by planning, organising and delivering weddings and special events from start to finish.
£26,052 to £28,933
Per year.
Full time, Permanent
(Evening, Weekend and Bank Holiday working required.)

Key information

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful hosting of events at Bryngarw House. You will support clients by planning, organising and delivering weddings and special events from start to finish, making sure everything runs smoothly and matches the client’s vision while providing excellent customer service.

A confident, friendly and warm individual, you will use your business acumen to upsell wherever possible and maximise revenue whilst maintaining customer service levels.

About the role

  • Act as a point of contact for couples and clients from the initial enquiry to post event follow up.
  • Plan, organise and deliver weddings, receptions, ceremonies, private parties, and corporate events according to client requirements with support from the Wedding and Events Manager.
  • Coordinate event logistics including: room setup, décor, catering arrangements, entertainment, accommodation with support from the Wedding and Events Manager.
  • Support the Wedding and Events Manager to prepare detailed event schedules, floor plans and supplier briefs.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every client receives personalised support and a positive planning experience.
  • Be required to take a hands on role in coordinating and supervising the team on the day of the weddings or events.

Requirements

  • Have a Level Three Diploma in Hospitality or similar, or be able to demonstrate competence through experience.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Be adaptable and flexible.
  • Strong organisational skills are essential, as well as being able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Have a an intimate understanding of how weddings and functions are managed and delivered.
  • Have a track record of meeting targets and successfully negotiating events.
