Fundraising for Scope is something for you to shout about! It’s a great opportunity to ask for donations, publicise your event or spread the word about Scope.
Below are a selection of ideas and resources to help you get your fundraising noticed. It’s easier than you think, and we've got some brilliant tools to get you going.

Top tips for approaching local media

The media are always looking for good local stories, especially a personal one such as your family's experience, a triumph over tragedy or something their readers can relate to. A story in your local paper is a simple, effective way to let your community know you’re taking part in a Scope challenge event.

Press release templates

A press release is a brief summary alerting the local media to your activity. It is an opportunity to tell the community what a great challenge you are taking on. If the thought of having to try and write a press release is stopping you, download one of our templates.

You don't have to approach your local press before an event. Contact them afterwards to celebrate your success and perhaps receive some last-minute donations towards your fundraising. We have press release templates to help you this with too.
