Yasmin's recipe for fundraising success

As a trained chef and self confessed chocolate lover, Yasmin decided to combine her passions during lockdown, delivering boxes of sweet treats to raise money for Scope.

So Yasmin, what inspired you to support Scope?

I have cerebral palsy and I believe being disabled shouldn’t stop anyone from doing what they want. I know Scope believes that too.

We certainly do! What was your fundraising idea?

I love cooking (and chocolate) and I wanted to cheer people up during lockdown. So I baked and posted out 1400 brownies, raising over £6,000!

Sounds amazing! And tasty. How do you feel now?

Giving back while doing something I love, that feels incredible.

Got an appetite for making a difference?

There are loads of ways for you to raise funds for Scope, from baking up a storm like Yasmin to hosting a virtual book club. Find out more about how you can fundraise for Scope today.
