If you would like to tell us about any adjustments that could be made to support you with the application process, you may do so here:
Are you under 18? Yes No You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer with Scope. If you are under 18, you will usually need consent from a parent or guardian before you can volunteer with us, except if your personal circumstances mean that this doesn't apply to you (for example if you are a care leaver).
Do you have any unspent criminal convictions? Yes No Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, you must declare any unspent criminal convictions registered against you. Having a conviction will not necessarily stop you from volunteering but will need to be taken into consideration when assessing suitability.
Keeping in touch If you volunteer with us, or enquire about our volunteering opportunities, we will usually collect your personal contact details, emergency contact details, availability to volunteer and contact preferences. We collect and store this data for 2 years after you stop volunteering with us. If you enquire about volunteering but don’t start, we will hold your data for no longer than 6 months.
We would like to share with you information on the work Scope does to help achieve a society where all disabled people enjoy equality, fairness and how your support helps to shape this. If you already hear from us, we will continue to contact you in the same way. If you don't already hear from us, please tick the box if you are happy to be contacted by:
