About this role

You’ll support the customer and market insight lead. They analyse data trends in the charity sector and run insight projects for internal teams, such as marketing. You’ll be able to learn how insight is done.

  • Analysing the performance of the Scope as a brand across various metrics.
  • Running accessible surveys and discussion groups among disabled people.
  • Taking briefs from other Scope teams.
  • Presenting results to Scope teams.
  • Doing desk research on topics related to disabled people’s lives.

When and where

We would ideally want you to volunteer for at least 14 hours a week, split across 2 to 3 weekdays. You can volunteer remotely from home or at our offices in Here East in the Olympic Park, E15 2GW. The initial settling in period would be for 6 months.

Who we’re looking for

It’d be helpful if you have:

  • An interest in data analysis.
  • Some Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Confidence to ask questions when needed.
  • Good attention to detail.

We are a friendly team of 4 to 5, passionate about achieving disability equality.

Our previous 2 volunteers were disabled. We’re delighted 1 moved onto a full-time job in the publishing industry and 1 is currently on secondment at Scope.
