Colleague Network 

This award celebrates a disabled employee network or employee resource group (ERG). The group should help make the workplace more inclusive for disabled people. They might do this through advocacy, peer support, or raising awareness. Their work helps to build a fairer and more welcoming workplace.

Community Group

This award honours a grassroots or voluntary group that is led by or works with disabled people. Their goal is to create positive local change. They might do this through advocacy, campaigning, peer support, or inclusive activities. These groups make a positive impact in their community.

Customer Inclusion 

This award honours an organisation that supports disabled customers. This could be through an innovative product or service redesign. Or a strong inclusion initiative. They will have worked to remove barriers and make life more accessible for disabled people.

Local Service

This award honours an organisation that makes a lasting difference for disabled people. This could be a small local business, social enterprise, or service. They might provide accessible services or create innovative solutions for the disabled community. Their efforts should show a real impact on their community.

Media Moment

This award recognises a media moment that has had a powerful impact. This could be a soap or drama storyline, entertainment TV show, film, podcast, or any other media format. The media moment should have helped shift attitudes on disability.

Purple Pioneer

This award celebrates someone who has promoted disability equality in their community. This could be a disabled person or a non-disabled ally. They may have raised awareness of disability issues or helped change attitudes. This category acknowledges the positive impact an individual has made on those around them.

Social Media Influencer

This award recognises a disabled social media influencer who promotes disability equality. They use their platforms to inspire change. They could be someone who raises awareness about daily life with a disability. They may challenge attitudes or educate their audience on accessibility and inclusion.

Workplace Champion

This award celebrates someone who champions disability inclusion in the workplace. They could be breaking down barriers by advocating for adjustments.
