Take on England’s finest countryside at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise to help transform attitudes towards disability and tackle injustice.
With the challenge basecamp in Kendal, it’s a 100km looped route with a few tough hills to Ambleside; a halfway point by Lake Windermere with stunning views enroute, and a huge welcome back at basecamp!
Join up to 2,000 adventurers and sign up as an individual or as a team and you’ll get full support all the way!
Option 1 – Full Charity Sponsorship - you pay a small reg fee, and have a slightly higher minimum fundraising target
Option 2 – Mixed Funding - you pay for half your entry fee, and have a smaller fundraising target
Whether you are a seasoned rambler or new to trekking, we are here to support you every step of the way.
With #TeamScope you will get:
Ultra Challenges welcome participants of all abilities who are confident in their ability to participate.
While each challenge covers different terrain and landscapes, you can typically expect steep climbs and descents, the necessity to cross stiles, and uneven pathways subject to weather effects such as mud and dust.
Participants with mobility issues have completed ultra challenges in the past on crutches & wheelchairs, and those with sight loss can also participate with a guide.
Ultra Challenges ask that anyone with accessibility concerns or questions contacts them to discuss their requirements.
The money you raise helps Scope continue to create a fairer society. And provide vital support to disabled people and their families when it's needed most.
The cost of living crisis has hit disabled people the hardest. Many disabled people are being forced to make impossible choices. Choices between running life-saving equipment or eating.
At Scope we have three goals:
By joining #TeamScope, you are joining our movement for change. Together, we’ll use our collective power to change attitudes and end the injustice. Together, we'll be unstoppable.
