What's happening

This year's theme is Hear our voices: Encouraging conversation and participation across communities to enable collective change. This reflects the many different ways disabled people communicate, share their experiences and contribute to life in Leeds. Hear from local disabled people and organisations and browse our marketplace stalls.

This event is a collaboration between Forum Central, Leeds City Council and Scope.

11am to 12:45pm

  • Two guest speakers will share their lived experience to open our event.
  • 'Hear our voices' presentations with an opportunity to ask questions.
  • You can also take part in accessible creative arts.
  • Refreshment break.

1pm to 3pm

  • Browse our mini marketplace with 14 stalls from local disability organisations.
  • Enjoy braille and simulation spectacle workshops, plus digital inclusion sessions.
  • There will be plenty of opportunities to network and connect with others, including meeting Disability Inclusive from Leeds City Council.
