As well as to support the Community Fundraising team in delivering Scope’s Community Fundraising strategy. You will provide administrative support to the team, assist in the innovation and growth of a co-produced programme of activity, and develop DIY fundraising products and ideas to support community fundraising efforts.

Fundraiser and volunteer Stewardship
- Support in the delivery of all aspects of the Community Fundraising programme, maximising income and future growth
- Ensure that Scope is on brand and well represented at events
- Optimise growth and effectiveness across all areas of events delivery, including product development, stewardship, and marketing
- Monitor the external market to feed into regular reviews to ensure that Scope remains competitive and up-to-date with its community fundraising
- Support the team in delivering excellent stewardship, encouraging long-term community fundraising relationships
- Support the team in developing and delivering new Community and DIY fundraising activities
Sector Knowledge

Person specification
Knowledge and experience
Essential
- Experience in community fundraising or similar.
- Experience in developing stewardship and engagement communications.
- Basic understanding of fundraising principles and practices, including fundraising compliance and data protection.
- Experience in managing projects to meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Understanding of the social model of disability.
- Knowledge of the barriers facing disabled people in the UK, and an understanding of the Social Model of Disability.
- Experience in working with external agencies.
- Relevant qualifications or coursework in fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
- Interest in trends in UK charity sector, fundraising and introducing new products or approaches.
- Experience in managing fundraising marketing campaigns.

- Willingness to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Enthusiasm for developing new fundraising ideas and products.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
