Two-year arrangement until 2028 will see both organisations work alongside one another to tackle digital exclusion experienced by disabled people.

Ordnance Survey (OS) has chosen Scope as its new corporate charity partner to support its mission to grow digital inclusion in Britain.

Working with disabled people, Scope is dedicated to driving change in society and creating an equal future for all.

Staff at OS voted to partner with Scope after being impressed by the work it does to provide digital access for disabled people across the UK, and by the way it delivers accessible online learning, careers guidance, CV support and interview preparation, helping disabled people progress into education, training and employment.

As Ordnance Survey’s charity of the year, Scope offers a wealth of resources and expertise, to help make digital inclusion a reality. The charity has eLearning platforms, digital inclusion training sessions and ongoing support, available for partners.

OS’s General Counsel, Jon O’Meara, said: 

“We were blown away by Scope’s application and the way it demonstrated the real impact its work has had in helping disabled people in Britain.

“We are so excited to join forces to create an even bigger impact over the next two years, particularly in tackling digital exclusion that many disabled people experience.
