We've launched our pilot creator group. It's one way we amplify disabled voices and experiences with more authentic, community-led content. And support emerging creators to upskill and grow.
"Real disabled people talking about real issues, real barriers, and real life with no filter."
Scope's creator group is made up of selected disabled influencers. They share their experiences in their own style with our followers. We pay our creator group for their time and effort. They build a supportive community together. And attend skills workshops to help them develop as creators.
We received over 200 strong applications during recruitment. Panels of disabled colleagues and creative teams helped choose our final creator group. They considered the experiences and intersectional identities of the disabled community in 2026.
The selected creators signed an agreement, set up on Microsoft Teams, and joined our online welcome session in June. The group got to know each other and engaged with discussions to:
Scope's creator group brings their own style, experience and creative freedom to a brief. We do not police their content or script them. They're part of the creator group to share their raw perspectives.
To launch the creator group, the influencers created an introduction video for Scope's channels. The 7 creators shared a bit about themselves and what the group is.

During Disability Pride Month in July, our creators had freedom to cover any topic close to their heart. From embracing disability and finding joy to using mobility aids at any age and visible differences. There was a great response to our creator group content.
We've seen a shift in higher intention of engagements, such as strong positive sentiments in comments.
You can see the Disability Pride Month videos on Scope's Instagram and TikTok.

“Needed to hear this today lovely thank you. Had this conversation with the physio this week, about using a crutch when I'm out on my own. I said "I'll feel like I've failed" I then actually thought of you, your travels etc... and realised I've been staying in, avoiding things. Time to change! 🧡🫶🧡🥰”

The creator group can offer a fresh perspective on your content, adding buckets of personality and lived experience. It's a valuable and authentic human touch. Their creativity can help you stay refreshingly relevant in any content-saturated channel.
Our creators recently worked with our partner, Evri. Their content encouraged people to donate stock to Scope charity shops using Evri's free service. And this new style of content was very well received by our partner. And it gave the creators a great opportunity to work with a big brand name.
You can see examples of the Evri stock donation content in Nikita's video or Jo's video.
