Wigan Crisis Space is a collaborative approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening. It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of Mental Health conditions and their impact on daily living and a strong track-record of working with individuals and their families to deliver positive outcomes. You will support the Registrar in the effective delivery of Amgueddfa Cymru’s loans programmes, inward and outward, in accordance with museum policies and to national and international museum standards and will apply the appropriate risk management principles to ensure the safeguarding of the collections.

• Understanding of national and international standards for transport, packing, handling and environmental requirements of museum objects.
• Experience of working with fine art transport agents.
• Some knowledge of Government Indemnity and commercial insurance.
• Some experience of negotiating loan agreements and conditions of loan.
• A track record in partnership working and in negotiating joint agreements.

What do I need to have?

• Hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor or equivalent qualification
• Experience of dealing with customers and working in a gym environment
• Recognised Group Exercise Class Qualification or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months 
• Friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with different clients
• Able to motivate members to achieve their goals
• Knowledge of delivering new membership sales and developing and delivering lead generation plans
• Confidence and ability to teach high quality group exercise classes
• Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
